Ignorance breeds fear, vampiric feeding frenzy. Make victims for the blind, small mind paranoia. Supremacy goal, denied a thousand times, Burn the witch, blood is on your hands. Disguised hate campaign, low-life power rise, Family-friendly fascism, hatred for all. Media-hype, fear cash-in, victim change, power gain, Burn the witch, blood is on your hands. Rivers run red, ignorance bleeds, hatred disease. Rivers run red, ignorance bleeds, hatred disease. Apathy, your delight, blind eye turned, allowed to spread, Disease of hate fuelled by ignorant minds, should've learned from this before. Hatred disease.
3.
Eager to dish it out, silver spoon fed bullshit. Epicentre for drama, when there’s smoke you’re fanning the flames. Running out of ties to sever, disaster puppet. You can’t escape those lies. Forever running, here’s your pitfall. Karma’s grip tightening for you. Here come the waterworks again.
4.
Desperate to be king of the hill, but your head’s too big for the crown, and it’s slipping. Ego, poseur, talentless joker. Begging for empty praise, your fifteen seconds, your foundations are already weak, subsiding. A scavenger for cheapened glory, another worthless mime. Faustian crisis loan. A scavenger for cheapened glory, another worthless mime. Ego, poseur, talentless joke.
5.
A smile full of razors, as those bodies piled up high. A gun from those lips, a sacrifice for saving face. Smashed teeth, a foot-hold, a means to an end, Broadcast for all, anything to win over empty approval. Simulation of understanding, a shoulder for all, Knives crossed behind the back, all revealed, self-satisfied, A vista of wreckage, scrap and picked bones, Left in the wake, oblivious to everything, everyone you've left to rot. Trail of disease, use once and destroy. Vessels laid to waste, use once and destroy. Your offer of salvation is a double-edged sword.
6.
Destruction continues for another minute of comfort. An on-going attack of power over compassion. As we grow small and stunted in the soil of so-called culture. Sociopathic organisation, control the Earth, run the planet, Unsustainable civilisation, consume the Earth, ruin the planet. A sick fantasy of domination, a war against the world.
7.
The problem of self-destruction, that great human affliction. Old age is an uncertainty, we are the enemy. Leaving a world of difficulty and pain. Living a way that doesn’t work, what a way to go. It’ll be okay as long as we don’t look down. Good intentions, blind arrogance, Numb greed, blunt ignorance.
8.
Capitalist captivity, solitary confinement, like caged animals, no feeling, no contact. Worldwide addiction, to this illusion of life. This scam of progression, this illusion of life. Deprived of light, psychotic, sociopathic. Civilisation, a cage of cities.
9.
Desperate seeking for more of what we don’t want. Never fulfilled, never satisfied, Endless addiction to the temporary fix, Seeking constant distraction until we hit rock bottom. Buy more, consume to fill the emptiness. Trapped in this madhouse prison, Make it as comfortable as possible. Deep grief, deep rage, deep need, deep loss.
10.
Burning bridges down, ostracised yourself again, Kicking up a storm, mountains from madness, the only way you know. Done it before, you'll do it again, spite your face every fucking time. Attention seeking deficit, another thread severed, relations tethered, What is the fucking point? Like toys from the pram, you've thrown it all away. Another flavour of the weak, surface-deep, Scratch away, infect another, friendship's cheap. Plague mask replica across the surface, behind it all your life.
11.
No happy final chapter, to lull you back to sleep. “Someone else will fix this, there’s plenty of time”. No fixes, no solutions, no plan, no future. The fundamental laws of life have been broken, Here are the consequences - time’s up. How did we lose sight of the basic things? Discard. Destroy community. Destroy ourselves.
12.
Rise the cult of empire, fed a diet of oil and war. Blinded culture, no limits, no laws. The naked reality, unhinged and insane, Forests precede us, deserts at our heels. The fatal science of planet exploitation. Battered and beaten, planet and people. This isn't how we were told it would be, Blindly stumbling down the path to extinction, An extinction solution. Escape before the detonation.
13.
Disconnect the real world. Degraded, unsatisfied, On-screen glory appeal, Assaulted violent media Maintain delusional state, Numb the animal body of critical thinking, Breed more parts for this bone machine.
14.
Denial, look the other way, somehow everything will be okay. Fantasy, walls of denial. helpless resignation. This culture is driven by death urge, an urge to destroy life. Step back from the abyss, this party is over. Shallow hopelessness in this dead existence. Heading for the crash, waiting for this cultural death.
15.
The stench of rot is seeping through the floor, nightmare atrocities. Scene corpse, plastic walking dead.
16.
Bitterness façade, black cloud in the sky. The wake, floating derelict, inside, clawing at the walls. Trapped with your insecurities, forgotten, left to rot. Suffer to exist, waste of hate. Exist to suffer, waste of hate. You’re suffering to exist, waste of my time. You exist to suffer, waste of my time. A pointless misadventure, to try and make sense of it all. Suffering to exist, waste of hate You exist to suffer, waste of my hate.
17.
Returned acquaintance, wrapped in vines, covered with thorns. Terminal posture, blistering, executed, at arm’s reach. Shoulder in scales, turned, to a point, calloused finger tips immune. That final nail to the spine, ribcage left wide open. That final nail to the spine, passive restraints, avoidance. Waist deep in this landfill, burn this shell dry, Another hole to the chest, another god that died.
18.
An infantile existence, unable to think for ourselves. Herd mentality, dependent and pacified. All complicit in the runaway ruination of Earth. No questions, follow authority on the path to hopelessness and despair, or the path to total extinction, choose wisely. To be reviled by our descendants as the horrors of their nightmares.

The masters of grind n' roll return with a new masterpiece, bristling with blasts, riffs and incomprehensible screaming. 'Extinction Solution' is a masterclass in hook-laden, 'fun' grind, but do not mistake the term here to mean 'not filled with blast beats and ear shattering vocals'.

Clocking in at around 22 minutes long the Northampton three piece waste no time with overlong intro/outro sections or frilly atmosphere, ATROCITY EXHIBIT go straight for the jugular, with old school Napalm Death-esque slippery guitar riffs snuggled up neatly against rock and roll rhythms that would give Lemmy cause to grin ear to ear.

The album rolls through several themes and is really nicely bookended with short, rocking riffs which, while not being identical, share a thematic similarity. The album as a whole hangs together amazingly well, there is a real sense of care in the composition of these songs. Everything is super tight from the songwriting to Matt's ridiculously clean drum sound and performances. Tracks blur from blasting gang vocals and brain shredding trem picking riffs to building chord progressions to grooving Motorhead beats and moments of dreadlocked, crust infused glory fit to have the surliest Doom fan punching the air and stamping their feet.

This is a properly excellent extreme music release that will please all smelly crust and grind fans, a strong competitor for grind album of the year!!
